From the Sustaining Air: I had what felt like the great privilege of being with my mum when she breathed her last breath. She had spoken her last words the day before, I knew she was at peace and when she took and released that breath, I knew that was it. I understood why some people believe there is a spirit that leaves the body and flies away.
